2012 XC Race Series
Welcome to Rockhampton Mountain Bike Club
Our club has been around for a number of years now. It started of pretty mellow by a bunch of guys who just loved to ride their bikes. Originally named “Rockhampton Dirtclowns”, a committee vote in early 2012 saw the name changed to “Rockhampton Mountain Bike Club”.
We are quite a social club and have members who socially ride and competitively race all disciplines of Mountain Biking. In the beginning the club was mostly based around social downhill riding, but in 2009 we were given the oppurtunity to host the Qld State XC & DH champs right here in Rockhampton. This brought on a new movement of XC to the region and has since boomed. Whilst DH has taken a back sea over the last year, 2012 looks promising the gravity fed discipline.

Where To Find Us
Where’s Rocky? Located in the Capricorn Coast in Central Queensland. Rockhampton is the beef capital of Australia. Approximately 637km North of Brisbane. In a car it will take roughly 8hrs to get here by car, or about 1hr if you would rather fly.
